Our Personal Support Services provide caring, hands-on assistance to help individuals live comfortably and confidently each day. We assist with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, mobility, and basic money management. More than just daily care, our team encourages independence, self-confidence, and self-advocacy—empowering each person to build life skills and stay actively engaged in their community.

Vastland’s Nursing Support Services ensure that every individual receives proper health oversight and preventive care. Our registered nurses assess medical needs, develop individualized care plans, train caregivers on delegated tasks, and provide continuous health monitoring. This service emphasizes wellness, safety, and proactive support—enabling participants to maintain healthy, active lives within their homes and communities.

Supported Living allows individuals with developmental disabilities to live in their own homes or shared residences with the assistance they need to thrive. We help with budgeting, household management, transportation, medication, and social inclusion. Each person’s plan is built around their goals and preferences—empowering them to make decisions, strengthen independence, and remain active members of the community.

Respite Care offers short-term relief to families and caregivers while ensuring consistent, compassionate support for their loved ones. Services may be provided in the individual’s home or in a community setting, giving caregivers time for rest, travel, or personal responsibilities. Our trained professionals maintain the participant’s routines, safety, and well-being, making every respite period both supportive and restorative.

Transportation Services bridge the gap between home and community by helping individuals access medical appointments, day programs, employment, and social events. Our goal is to eliminate mobility barriers and foster inclusion. We provide safe, reliable transportation options and training to build travel independence, ensuring that participants can connect with people and opportunities that enrich their daily lives.

Community Development Services (CDS) help individuals become active, contributing members of their communities. Through guided community participation—such as volunteering, internships, travel training, and self-advocacy activities—participants gain confidence and practical experience. The program focuses on developing communication, problem-solving, and social skills that prepare each individual for employment, education, and independent living.
